Midnight Studio Rambles #1 (shots and cuts)

The Midnight Studio Rambles are a series of tapes comprised of sculptural sets built by the artist in her studio. Currently there are 5 in total. In these ‘rambles’, through the camera, vision occurs outside of the body, assuming the role of a displaced ‘rambler.’ And so through a slow and methodical tracing of the objects and sets with this visual apparatus, consciousness also seems to meld with this material outside the body, bringing together visual and haptic senses in an unfamiliar sensorial hybrid.
